Trustee roles

We’re looking for passionate, innovative and committed Trustees to join our brilliant Board and help us write our next chapter.

Age UK Islington is an independent charity, operating within the Age UK network. We empower people to improve or maintain their health, wellbeing, connections and independence, through a diverse range of impactful services with a focus on prevention and person-centred care. Although we work primarily with over-55s, our services support an increasing number of younger people, and we are the lead agency supporting unpaid carers of all ages across Islington.

This is an exciting time to join the charity, with a new CEO in post and ambitious plans to expand our impact during a period of significant external changes. Our services are performing strongly, and we are fortunate to be in a position of relative financial stability, so we are well positioned for growth and innovation.

If you are passionate about our cause, enjoy teamwork, and can commit to the responsibilities of being a trustee at Age UK Islington, we'd love to hear from you. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with expertise and experience in the following areas:

· Digital Transformation, including cybersecurity and AI

· Finance and Investments

· Fundraising and Income Generation

· NHS / Health and Social Care leadership
