Want to get out for a social lunch, or need help with shopping and cooking? We can help you find lunch clubs, meal delivery services and support with shopping.

Social lunch

We can provide you with details of lunch clubs in Islington. These are available in community centres around the borough. They usually provide a cooked, hot meal and the opportunity to meet other local people.

Support with shopping

Finding it difficult to get to the shops? We can let you know about available delivery options from local supermarkets. If you have access to a smartphone, tablet or pc, we can arrange for a future appointment with a digital volunteer to help you to set-up an online shop. There are also a number of meal delivery services that you can pay for.

Affording food

There are a network of Food Banks around Islington that can help if you are struggling to afford food. Many of the Food Banks also provide Food Co-ops or Pop-Up Stores which can help you save money on your weekly shop.
