Stakeholder Update: June 2025

Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire is proud to announce an exciting new chapter in our journey of supporting older people. Reflecting its expanded reach and commitment to communities across Lincolnshire, the charity will be known as Age UK Lincolnshire from 18th July 2025.
Through our partnership working with Age UK Lindsey, we’ve been delivering services across East and West Lindsey for some time. Moving forward we will continue to provide these services and look to develop them into the North Lincolnshire area also.
It’s important to note that these changes do not impact Age UK North East Lincolnshire, which will continue to operate and deliver services in the North East Lincolnshire area. Our two organisations will work together to make the best use of our resources, ensuring we support older people as effectively and efficiently as possible.
The existing services to be developed are as follows:
- Home Support, including lifestyle support, domestic cleaning, gardening and laundry
- Deep cleans
- House Clearance
- Hospital Discharge Services, including HART and our hospital-based Community Connectors
- 24-Response Service
- Telecare Installation and monitoring (in partnership with LHP)
We have also been successful in securing funding from Age UK to deliver additional services across East and West Lindsey, as well as North Lincolnshire. These services include:
- Information & Advice
- Volunteering
- Activities
- Befriending
- Scams Awareness
These services are still in the early stages of development, so we ask for your patience as we work to fully establish and deliver them, just as we do across the rest of Lincolnshire.
We’re also excited to announce that we have taken over the management of five former Age UK Lindsey shops in Spilsby, Horncastle, Louth, Tattershall and Woodhall Spa, which will soon be rebranded to Age UK Lincolnshire. Building on the success of our well-established Boston shop, which serves as a vibrant community hub, we’re eager to extend this model to our newly acquired locations, welcoming both familiar faces and new customers.
We are equally delighted that we have been able to offer employment to 18 former staff members of Age UK Lindsey as we grow and develop our offer across the wider geographical area.
We hope this update offers you some reassurance that there will continue to be a local offer of services and support from a local, independent Age UK and that our commitment to the older people across Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire remains as crucial as ever.
If you have any questions about any of the above, please do not hesitate to contact us.
