What is the Big Knit?

We've all seen the innocent smoothies wearing those cute little knitted hats in the supermarkets, but where do they come from? Innocent Smoothies has teamed up with Age UK to get the nation knitting!

The best bit is each hat donated to Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire is worth 25p.

This year, Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire has a target of 30,000 hats, so come on Lincolnshire, let's get knitting!!

How to get involved

We’d love you to knit lots of lovely little hats for this year’s Big Knit and whether you’re a knitting novice or a purling pro, it couldn’t be easier. Don't be afraid to get creative, we'd love to see your creations!

Download the knitting patterns below, make yourself a nice cup of tea, find a comfy chair and knit away!
