Support Services Coordinator (Maternity Cover) West Lindsey
Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire is an independent local charity – a brand partner of Age UK – supporting more than 5,000 people every week. We have an exciting vacancy for a Support Services Coordinator (Maternity cover) who will be responsible for the efficient coordination of our established and well-respected Help in the Home, Lifestyle Support, Deep Clean, House Clearance and Laundry services.
- 28 hours per week, Monday – Friday
- Lincoln and West Lindsey
- £21,099 per annum
- Maternity Cover - with expected end date of January 2026
- A driving licence is essential

About the role
At the heart of our values-led service is the provision of safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led person-centred support, enabling our clients to live fulfilling and independent lives with the dignity & respect they deserve at all times. We are therefore looking for an individual with demonstrable knowledge, skills and experience of working with older adults in a health and or/social care setting and who must be committed to delivering an outstanding service.
The role will be both rewarding and challenging and will include but is not limited to the following:
- Develop person-centred, outcome focused Support Plans in conjunction with clients and their families accessing the service
- Provide regular support reviews and assessments for clients accessing the service
- Empower clients to make their own choices, and reflect this in their support plans
- Assisting in the selection and recruitment of Support Workers across our area of coverage
- Assisting with induction and training of Support Workers
- Undertake ongoing assessment, supervision and field observations of Support Workers
- Ensuring safe staffing levels; organise rotas; manage and plan service delivery to provide the highest quality of support to clients
- Respond proactively to day to day challenges and changes in support delivery requirements
- On-going monitoring of communication systems.
