Daily activities at Crossacres Resource Centre

  • Book and Jigsaw Exchange

    Are your shelves heaving under the weight of books and finished jigsaws? Then bring along your unwanted items and swap them for new ones!

  • Computers

    Members can access computers and the Internet at Crossacres Community Resource Centre. Supported or guided learning sessions are also available by appointment.

  • Easyline Gymnasium

    The gym at Crossacres is equipped with the latest innovations in fitness apparatus from TechnoGym. After an induction into using the equipment you will be able to use the gym throughout the week.

  • Emporium

    Come and visit our selection of independent shops upstairs. Unique gifts, crafts and clothes are available.

  • The Two Soups Café

    We have a love Café that serves cakes, soup, sandwiches and light refreshments.

Regular activities at Openshaw Resource Centre

  • Crafty Coffee Morning

    Enjoy a Crafty Coffee Morning for £1.00. 

  • Luncheon Club

    Meet and chat with other people, over a reasonably priced two course home-cooked lunch for a mere £3.20; no need to book. Simply drop in!

  • Tai Chi sessions

    These are seated exercises to help improve health and well-being (along with some optional standing ones to improve balance, if you’re feeling particularly ambitious)
