What is it you do as a volunteer for Age UK Mid Mersey?

"I provide a helping hand at any events"

How did you get into it?

"I found the relevant information on the website, applied and then picked an event to help out at"

What made you want to volunteer?

"My colleagues and I started knitting blankets and donated them to Age UK Mid Mersey and I thought I'd like to volunteer as well. With me working full time though, I just do what I can"

Why did you choose to volunteer with Age UK Mid Mersey over other charities?

"Age UK Mid Mersey was my local and handy and I thought it would be nice to give back to my local community"

How long have you been volunteering with Age UK Mid Mersey?

"Since November 2022"

What do you like about it?

"I like being able to give something back to the community"

What would you say to someone wanting to become a volunteer?

"It's a good cause and worth doing something for"
