At Age UK North Tyneside we are committed to helping people living with dementia, their families and carers to continue to live fulfilling and rewarding lives.

Our Mental Health & Wellbeing Coordinators provide group and activity services for people with a low to moderate level of need. From singing groups to social gatherings we aim to stimulate memories and social interactions.

Help for Younger Unpaid Carers

If you are under 50 years old and are an unpaid carer for a relative or friend with dementia, you too can benefit from the support of Age UK North Tyneside's Admiral Nurse team by registering with North Tyneside Carers Centre: https://www.northtynesidecarers.org.uk/

Dementia Connections Service

For support with a dementia diagnosis, caring for someone with dementia, or general advice - we have a service in partnership with Dementia UK and Search Newcastle for individuals and their families in both Newcastle and North Tyneside. 

The support is multi-tiered, helping with small tasks and specialist support and care.
