In 12 days, pensioners  will no longer be able to claim pension benefits because they happen to love someone younger than State Pension age. From 15th May, the Government are stopping couples with an age gap (where one person in a couple is over State Pension age and the other person is under State Pension age) from receiving the financial support of Pension Credit and Housing Benefit. Although the Government understands the impact of this they have shown no sign of reversing this decision.

If you also think that it’s outrageous that pensioners could miss out on up to £7000 a year of financial support  please join usto protest at Amber Rudd's constituency office in St Leonards Thursday 9th 12:30

All travel expenses will be paid and lunch provided. Email campaigns@ageuk.org.uk for details and to sign up.
