Would you benefit from free, impartial, independent and confidential information or advice to help you or a loved one enjoy later life?

Woman helping man with advice

We hold the Advice Quality Standard which provides you with assurance that we have met certain criteria that demonstrates a commitment to quality. Our dedicated Information and Advice team offer free confidential information and advice on a range of issues affecting older people from Attendance Allowance to Zumba classes.

Our friendly team of staff and volunteers are available to answer your questions or provide more information about our services between 10am-4pm Monday to Friday at our offices, over the phone 023 8036 8636 or email info@ageuksouthampton.org.uk

We ask that clients contact us direct to arrange an appointment rather than 'dropping in' so that we can ensure you will be seen without having to wait and that we can tell you about any documentation that we would need you to bring along to your appointment.

We will visit older people in their own homes for certain types of advice that cannot be provided over the telephone when it would be difficult for the older person to attend the office. For example, we regularly make home visits to help complete welfare benefit forms.

We are members of Advice Southampton  - a working partnership of the key advice agencies within the city who have joined forces to improve services and create additional capacity. www.advicesouthampton.org.uk
