By making a financial donation to Age UK Southampton you are helping older people love later life. It is an easy way to get involved and provides the most direct way of supporting our work. Without the generous donations of our supporters it wouldn't be possible for us to operate.

You can decide to support us financially in a number of different ways;

One off Donation

By cheques made payable to "Age UK Southampton" and sent to our office address below:-

By cash. We recommend cash donations to be made in person at our office

Online at our Virgin Money Giving page

Regular donations

Making a regular monthly donation is a wonderful way of showing support to older people, no matter how small. You can arrange this either through our Virgin Money Giving page or by completing the Friends of Age UK Southampton form and returning to our office.

Gift Aid

Gift Aid is a tax-relief scheme managed by HMRC and a cost-effective way of maximising one-off or regular donations for UK taxpayers. Under current arrangements, we can claim back 25p every time an individual donates £1 to us with no upper limit. e.g. a £10 donation would allow us to claim £2.50 making your donation worth £12.50.

Text Donate

Donating by text is an easy way to support Age UK Southampton. It gives you the ultimate control in deciding when and how you want to get involved. In partnership with JustGiving, you can simply text:

AUKS15£5 to 70070 to donate £5 towards our work

Gifts in kind/pro bono support

As a small local charity there are many ways that businesses can support our services. If you would to discuss how you might be able to help in more detail, please get in touch.

In Memory donations

Age UK Southampton is often considered by the families of those we've helped to benefit from in memory donations when they die. These donations mean a great deal to the volunteers and staff as a recognition of the care and support that we had provided.

Contact our Fundraising Department by phone 023 8036 8636 or email fundraising@ageuksouthampton.org.uk or drop into the office between 10am-4pm Monday to Friday for more information.
