What a Night! On Tuesday 15th July, Sambrook's Brewery was fizzing with excitement, fierce competition, and a fantastic sense of community as Age UK Wandsworth hosted our 10th annual Charity Pub Quiz. We're thrilled to announce that, thanks to everyone who attended and the generosity of local businesses, we raised an incredible £1,280!
The atmosphere buzzed as teams gathered, brains were put to the test, and laughter filled the air. Our brilliant Quiz Master, Alex Donald, kept everyone on their toes with a fantastic mix of challenging and fun questions. It was clear everyone had a thoroughly good time.
A huge congratulations to our winning team, who walked away with the star prize after winning our Pub Quiz: a £75 bar tab at Sambrook's Brewery! But the prizes didn't stop there. Our raffle was packed with amazing goodies, thanks to the generosity of local businesses. Prizes included a luxurious HydraFacial from Nua Skin and therapy vouchers from London Acupuncture, as well as vouchers for Megan's and The Bedford Pub, Wandsworth Strike, Frenchies café, and even free yoga classes from More Yoga, there was something for everyone. We're so grateful for all the wonderful donations, including a case of beer from Sambrook's, a free consultation with TV Edwards Solicitors, and delightful treats from Cat-Titude Café, among many others.
Every single pound raised will directly support Age UK Wandsworth's vital work, helping older people to age well in Wandsworth by enabling us to continue providing essential services and support.
We want to extend a massive thank you to everyone who came out to support us on the night. Your enthusiasm and generosity were heartwarming. A special shout-out also goes to the incredible staff at Sambrook's Brewery for being such fantastic hosts.
