Our social engagement team provides activities and support to get out and about in the community.

Support to make those first steps

It can often be difficult to make the first steps to joining a local group. We will help you all the way:
• We can tell you about groups and activities near to you and answer any questions you have about them.
• We can help you plan how you will get there e.g. bus, taxi, Ring and Ride.
Please note no transport is provided with this service so that when we step back from supporting you will be able to continue to go to group on your own.
• We can accompany you the first few times from your home to the group and back until you feel settled at the group.
• We can help devise a plan so you feel more confident in the future.

We provide a range of activities to suit everyone, located across Wigan Borough. Our activities include:

- Ping Pong Parkinsons
- Music Cafes
