£24,279- 26,990 per annum depending on experience and aFull Time Equivalent role (pro rata sum will be dependent on hours).

Location Mainly based out of our Devizes and/or Salisbury offices, ideally with the ability to work from both.

Role Description:

Our Information & Advice Service provides free, confidential support to older people and their carers. We offer guidance on key topics such as welfare benefits, social care, and housing, helping people make informed choices and access the help they need. Support is delivered by phone, email, face-to-face, and through home visits, with follow-up casework available when needed. The service is quality-assured through Age UK's national standards.

Join Age UK Wiltshire's Information & Advice team as a Project Worker and help to deliver vital support to older people and their carers across the region. In this varied role, you’ll provide tailored advice on topics such as welfare benefits, social care, and housing – through phone, email, face-to-face appointments, and home visits. You’ll also support service volunteers, maintain accurate records, and contribute to service quality and development.

We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a passion for helping others, and a commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion. Experience in advice work, casework, or volunteer supervision is desirable.
