Working for Age UK Wiltshire
Age UK Wiltshire is a local independent charity with around 60 members of staff, mostly part-time. We help over 1500 local older people every year, offering activities, events, social contact and information. It's a great place to work if you really want to make a difference in people's lives.
Community Connector - £27,532 (FTE)
Age UK Wiltshire is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, proactive, and motivated person to support older people to access information and advice and to become better connected with their communities, particularly people who are on a low income, socially isolated, or find it difficult to access services. Working directly with older people, often visiting people at home, you’ll have a direct impact on their quality of later life, helping to put money into people’s pockets and supporting them to become better connected with their communities. If you have empathy, a natural affinity with people and an understanding of the issues affecting older people in your community, we’d love to hear from you!
Information & Advice Project Worker - £24,765 - £27,532
Join Age UK Wiltshire as an Information & Advice Project Worker and help deliver vital support to older people and their carers across the region. This is a varied, dynamic and rewarding role within a close-knit collaborative team with scope for some flexible working once initial training has been completed.

As a Trustee you will provide a strategic lead and oversight for the direction of Age UK Wiltshire. We are looking for people from all walks of life with strategic vision, independent judgement, a passion for helping older people, and a willingness to give time and commitment to represent our organisation and its values. The post is unpaid but will provide you with a great deal of experience and satisfaction.
