Changes to Dementia Support Services in Herefordshire and Worcestershire
Age UK Wyvern is announcing an important change to dementia support services across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
From 31 October 2026, Age UK Wyvern will no longer be commissioned by the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care Board (ICB) to deliver the Dementia Wellbeing Service.
From 1 November 2026, a new Post Diagnostic Dementia Support Service will be delivered by Alzheimer’s Society, following a procurement process undertaken by the ICB earlier this year.
A space for people living with Young Onset Dementia and their loved ones to socialise in a relaxed setting.
What is it?
- A monthly get together for people living with Young Onset Dementia and their loved ones to socialise in a relaxed setting with others alike.
- Fun and meaningful activities at different locations throughout Worcestershire.
- Practical and emotional support from our support advisors.
- Available to anyone with a dementia diagnosis under the age of 65 living in Worcestershire
Is there a cost?
We do not charge for these groups. However, there may be admission charges at venues we visit.
When and where?
Our Social Group usually meets every 3rd Wednesday of the Month. The schedule below is subject to change as we go through the year. Find out more by clicking the location(s) below:
