Making new friends on a grand day out

Members of our Bath Day Centre got the chance to get out and about and meet new people when they went on a trip to the Midsomer Norton Day Centre.
The Bath visitors were given a very warm welcome when they arrived and volunteers Nicola Smith and Jane Hassel laid on a wonderful lunch for everyone to tuck into, followed by a delicious afternoon tea. Holly Marks, assistant day centre organiser and professional singer, entertained the group with classic jazz and blues songs.
Active manager Sarah Talbot said: "There was a real party atmosphere at the event and new friendships were forged. Our Day Centre members loved the opportunity to socialise with new people and it was great to see so many singing and dancing!"
