Age UK Derby and Derbyshire is a local independent charity with 60 staff members. We help over 1500 local older people every year, offering activities, events, befriending and information. It's a great place to work if you really want to make a difference in people's lives.

Sometimes roles within Age UK Derby and Derbyshire require our staff to have a DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Services) before they can start work with us.  If this is necessary for a role you are applying for we will let you know, please be assured we would not expect a perspective employee to pay for their own check.  Any DSB check arrangements would be made after interview.

  • Charity Shop Manager - Alfreton

    Manager - 26 hours per week (alternate weekends and holiday cover)

    16 hours per week @ £13.49 per hour

    We need an enthusiastic, capable worker to support the delivery of 'Tootsies', a social entreprise footcare service, for people aged 50+ in Derbyshire.

  • Day Centre Care Assistant

    7 hours per week @ £12.21 per hour (minus 1/2 hour lunch)

    To support the delivery of Hope day service, to provide personal, emotional and social care and support to older people.
