Information & Advice

We offer a free, confidential information and advice service to support you with -

  • Social care - such as finding a care home or getting some help at home, and how it's funded
  • Your income - personalised entitlement checks and practical help with applying for benefits
  • You home - information on staying warm at home, home adaptations and how to prevent falls
  • Scams awareness - one to one advice sessions to help you avoid the risk of being scammed

Living Well in Later Life

We run community-based activities and support other organisations that promote health and wellbeing, independence and choice, and reduce social isolation. Our amazing volunteers make it possible to offer such a wide range of activities including -

  • Social cafes 
  • Walking Tennis
  • Knit and Natter
  • Walking Football
  • Tai Chi

Promoting Independence

Our Promoting Independence services are all about helping older people stay confident and safe in their own homes.

  • Home Support Assistants - here to help you with everyday tasks and companionship. From light household tasks, to taking you to appointments and collecting shopping.
  • Foot Care - our trained Foot Care Practioners can visit you in the comfort of your own home or at our regular Foot Care Clinic in Exeter. 
  • Ear Care - our regular Ear Care Clinics are delivered by a trained nurse and offer gentle water irrigation or micro-suction.
