Marketing Officer
Hours: 30–37 hours per week
Location: Hybrid – based at our Exeter office with some home working
Contract:1-year fixed term (potential for extension)
Salary: £27,791 per annum (FTE), rising to £28,405 after successful probation

About the Role
As our Marketing Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the implementation of our annual Marketing and Communications Plan. You’ll help create engaging content, maintain our digital presence, and ensure brand consistency across all platforms. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful campaigns that support older people across Devon.
The role involves:
- Assisting with the creation of digital and print content
- Supporting social media and website updates
- Helping to deliver national and local campaigns
- Producing branded materials using Canva and Adobe Suite
- Monitoring engagement and reporting on performance
- Collaborating with colleagues and external partners
What we are looking for:
- At least 1 year’s experience in a marketing or communications role
- Strong writing and design skills
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, and Google Analytics
- A proactive, organised team player with great attention to detail
- Passion for supporting older people and local communities
