Seachange

Seachange is a charity which provides a range of services, including to people with dementia and their friends and families.
 
These include:
  • SeaSupport
A home support service including daytime respite, offering practical help and companionship for those living with dementia.
  • Brain Boost Club
The Brain Boost Club is a 12-week course using Cognitive Stimulation Therapy, which is designed to stimulate cognitive function in a supportive, social environment,
  • Seachange Memory Café
The Memory café runs between 10.30 and 3.30pm every Tuesday and Wednesday. It offers a range of activities as well as guest speakers, support and advice as well as lunch.
  • Refresh Cares Drop in
“Refresh Carers Drop In is designed specifically for carers like you. Whether you need to connect with others, unwind in a peaceful space, or learn about new wellbeing therapies, we've got you covered.”
It runs between 2.00pm and 3.00pm on the first Tuesday of every month.
  • Singing for Wellbeing
Music and singing sessions promoting well-being for people with dementia and carers. This group runs between 2.15 and 3.45pm on the first and third Wednesday of the month.
  • Dementia Counselling
Seachange offers counselling for people with mild to moderate dementia and their families.

The Ness Project 

We cover the whole county online with coaching, advice, online training and CST.  Our Memory Hub in Exmouth is open every day and runs activity clubs, day service, CST, training, advice, coaching etc (everything to help someone from pre-diagnosis to end stage 24hr care) and covers all of Budleigh, Woodbury, Topsham and Exmouth.  We run CST groups in Seaton and available in Honiton, Tiverton and Sidmouth.

The Filo Project

The Filo project provides day care for older people in small group settings in hosts own homes. It provides homely environments, and highly individualised support. They offer support across Devon.
