The reality is there is probably at least one person in every family needing our help and advice at some stage in their life. If we are not there who will be?

The options to support your community are endless, it can be as simple as a coffee morning to get your team together, supporting a colleague who is running a marathon with individual sponsorship or time off to train, providing materials or tools for one of our many projects or making Age UK Exeter your Charity of the Year!

We are a local charity - helping local older people - with local issues.

A partnership with us could benefit your organisation by helping you achieve your corporate social responsibility objectives and gain exposure with the wider community.

If you’re keen to make a difference there are lots of activities to choose from, and we will support you in your endeavour. If you don’t fancy organising something your self, why not just come along to one of our events and have some fun.

For further information or to discuss corporate sponsorship for our forthcoming events please contact us via email to info@ageukexeter.org.uk

How can I get involved?

Sponsor one of our events

Get involved in our events thoughout the year, such as our annual fundraising gala. By sponsoring an event you help us with the costs, for example, food and decorations, and in return get some great PR and local media coverage.

Choose Age UK Exeter as your Charity of the Year

Why not support Age UK Exeter as your business Charity of the Year. It would be amazing to receive your support and in return we would offer joint branding on our fundraising materials and our events, as well as positive PR and local media coverage.

Display a collection tin

Could you display a collection tin in your office or shop? This would help us to collect much needed donations to continue our vital work in Exeter.

Donate a raffle prize or service

Could you donate a prize for one of our many fundraising raffles and competitions - perhaps a bottle of wine, a box of chocolates or biscuits, pamper goodies, gift vouchers, or free services?

Donate equipment

If you would like to donate a piece of equipment, we would be very grateful. We usually need raiser chairs for people in our day centres, kitchen equipment for our lunch clubs, and computer equipment for our staff.

Time out for your employees to volunteer

Could you send a team to help out at an event or activity? It's a great way for staff to bond by working together. Previous staff teams have served afternoon teas, painted our day centre and prepared our Budding Friends allotment for the next growing season. Knowing your team has helped support vulnerable older people in Exeter is certainly something to shout about.

During 2023 we are supporting a number of running events and would love your team members to volunteer on our water or cheer stations during the events. Just ask about the types of activities you can be involved with.

If you have volunteer hours as part of your workplace scheme we would love to hear from you, whether it be as an individual or a team day.

Run a fundraising event

Your employees could run their own fundraiser to help raise vital funds for our work. Is there a better way to bring your team together with a cake sale, dress down day, a sponsored walk or run or a raffle. There's so many things they could do - contact us for more ideas!

Write a Will

Are you a with local solicitor?

If you represent a local law firm that would like to participate in a future Will writing event with Age UK Exeter, we would love to hear from you.

To discuss how we could work together, please contact us on 01392 202092 or email info@ageukexeter.org.uk.
