Staying Independent

Spending the day with us

  • West Exe Day Service

    The West Exe Day Care Service offers those who have a physical frailty the opportunity to socialise in an environment that is relaxed yet stimulating and supportive.

  • East Exe Day Service

    Similar to the West Exe Day service, the East Exe Day Service provides a place for people with physical disabilities. Stimulating activities, laughter and chat make for an interesting and entertaining day in a supportive environment.

  • Park Club

    For older people with mild to moderate dementia. This friendly day service provides a high ratio of staff and volunteers to guests, helping with activities and offering one-to-one support.

  • Lane Club

    This service is for older people with moderate to more severe dementia and offers a friendly, quieter group setting, with an emphasis on one-to-one support and promoting a sense of wellbeing and safety.  Ongoing support for family carers is also offered.

Looking after yourself - personal care

  • Hairdressing

    Looking good makes you feel great! Come and be pampered by our hairdresser.

  • Bathing

    If bathing is difficult for you at home, why not use our facilities. Available to anyone over 50 in exchange for a small donation.Massage

  • Massage

    Massage can really improve your wellbeing. Eva, our massage therapist, specialises in treating people aged 50 or over.

Meeting people and making friends

  • Pop-in social groups

    Our Pop-in social groups are the ideal way to meet people and make new friends. We'd love to see you there!VIPs

  • VIPs

    If you're visually impaired, this friendly social group is for you.

  • Soundbase

    Hearing loss can make socialising daunting - that's where Soundbase comes in. Join our small, welcoming group and meet new friends.

  • Firestation cafe

    Or why not pop-in to our friendly Fire Station Cafe? We serve freshly cooked food. Meals can also be pre-ordered and collected by you for a 'hot take-away' service.
