Donations needed for DSMC

As we all know many place have had to temporarily close due to the Covid-19 outbreak, included in this is our Droitwich Spa Meeting Centre. The centre is a lifeline to many older people and their carers across Worcestershire and although we are keeping in regular contact with them all via phone, they are missing the centre as much as we are missing them!
Unfortunately, the current situation impacts on our finances, as it does for so many individuals and organisations. We were extremely pleased last year when we were able to secure funding from the National Lottery to support the costs of the Centre for the 4 years from 1 September 2019 to 31 August 2023. However, the grant only covers 50% of the Centre’s annual operating costs and we remain responsible for raising the other 50%, the majority of which was forecast to come from the daily subs paid by the members/carers each day. We are of course, no longer receiving these but are still incurring costs, not least those related to keeping in contact with members while the Centre is closed.
Therefore, we are asking if you can to make a donation to the centre so that we can continue to support older people across the county. We are extremely grateful to anyone that has supported us in the past and is supporting us now. You can donate via this link
