What’s On at Age UK Herne Bay & Whitstable – Your Autumn & Winter Events Guide
The seasons may be changing, but there’s no shortage of things to do here at Age UK Herne Bay & Whitstable! We’ve got a fantastic line-up of events to bring the community together, keep you connected, and help you stay well. Whether you’re in the mood for a friendly quiz, want to explore local health services, or you’re looking forward to some festive magic, there’s something for everyone.
Friday 19th September, 7–10pm – Annual Quiz Night
It’s time to gather your brainiest friends (or just the ones who are great company) for our much-loved Annual Quiz Night. For just £5 per person, you and up to 7 teammates can enjoy an evening of fun, laughter, and friendly competition. Who will take home the crown this year?
🏥 Monday 29th September, 11am–1.30pm – East Kent Health Partnership Market Place
Pop in and discover a wide range of health and care services available in Herne Bay and surrounding areas. Whether you’re seeking advice, looking for support, or simply curious about what’s on offer, this event is a great way to connect with local providers who can help you live well.
Friday 7th November, 9am–1pm – Winter Well Event
Organised by Canterbury City Council, this event is all about helping you prepare for the colder months ahead. Meet local organisations, pick up tips, and find out how you can stay healthy, safe, and warm this winter.
Sunday 30th November, 10am–4pm – Santa’s Christmas Workshop & Market
The magic of Christmas comes alive at our biggest festive event of the year!
Santa’s Workshop – £15 per child for a 1.5-hour Christmas adventure, including decorating a gift box, painting a Christmas figure, writing a letter to Santa, enjoying a story with Mrs Claus, and meeting Santa himself for a special gift.
Christmas Market – Free entry! Browse stalls from local traders offering perfect Christmas presents and festive treats.
