Age UK Herne Bay & Whitstable are the lead contract holders for Post Diagnostic Specialist Support in the Community for People with Dementia and their Families in East and West Kent

Dementia & Me is a service that helps enrich the lives of people living with dementia.

The Dementia & Me Organisers across East & West Kent will be delivering a service which will see the continuation, development and expansion of a varied range of group based support activities for those affected by dementia and their family carer. This will include: Dementia Café’s, Peer Support Groups, Befriending, Young Onset Dementia Groups and Information & Advice being offered within the Café’s. The service will also integrate with other existing dementia services in the area to ensure that everyone is getting the best possible support.
