Fundraising Volunteer
We are looking for friendly, caring individuals to volunteer as Fundraising Volunteers.
The aim of these volunteers is to fundraise money or receive donations that can then support the provision of services to older people in Hull and East Yorkshire.
Personal qualities and experience for this role:
- Enjoy conversation
- Understands the issues that some older people may face
- Be trustworthy, reliable and committed
- Have a sense of humour!
Training:
An induction session will prepare you for your role
How much time is involved?
The hours are flexible, depending upon how much time you can give and the frequency of events where we can fundraise
Tasks:
- Collecting money from the public via donations
- Handing donations to the Age UK Hull team to count and secure the money
- Attend events with the Age UK team where appropriate
- Maintain confidentiality
- Follow the organisations policies and guidelines
- If there is any change to your circumstances that may affect your volunteering, let us know
