This winter, we’re helping older people across Lambeth stay warm, well and connected with free events, flu jabs and energy advice.

Get your free flu vaccination, meet our team, and find out how you can keep your home warm over winter.

  • Tuesday 20th October - 12pm - 3pm
  • Tuesday 27th October - 11am - 1pm
  • Tuesday 10th November - 1pm - 3pm

🏠 FREE Home Energy Checks 🏠

Our expert handyperson service conducts home energy checks for older people who are finding it difficult to keep their homes warm. The sessions include a home assessment, helpful tips and information, and installation of simple energy-efficiency equipment.

Eligibility:

Over the age of 65 and meet one of the following:

  • low income
  • long-term health condition
  • live in a home that is hard to heat.

⚡ Lambeth Energy Boost Service ⚡

The Lambeth Energy Boost Service provides specialised energy advice and one-to-one support for anyone in Lambeth struggling with gas or electricity bills.

Our trained Energy Advisors offer:

  • One-to-one advice (by phone or in person)
  • Help with forms and applications
  • Signposting to other helpful Age UK Lambeth services

Who can access this service:

Open to anyone aged 18+, especially older residents, unpaid carers, and people with long-term health conditions. To make a referral:

🎅 Festive Friends 🎅

Festive Friends supports Lambeth residents aged 65+ who live alone and would otherwise be alone on Christmas Day. On the 25th December 2026, a volunteer will prepare an extra Christmas dinner portion and deliver it to their home.
