  • MYsocial Physical Activities Worker

    Team: MYsocial
    Hours:16 hours per week for 6 months

    Salary: £6,520 total for 6 months (£24,462 FTE)

    This role would suit a person with a background in sports keen to use their experience to enhance the wellbeing and physical activity of older adults in Lambeth.

  • MYcommunity Link Worker - Full Time

    Team: MYcommunity
    Hours: 35 hours, full time
    Contract: Fixed term until December 2022
    Salary: £26,050 pa

    The MYcommunity Lambeth offers short term, brief intervention, social prescribing support to individuals. We aim to reduce health and wellbeing inequalities by addressing the wider determinants of health, such as debt, poor housing and physical inactivity, by increasing people’s active involvement with their local communities, providing information and advice and connecting people into local and statutory services for practical and emotional support. The service is designed to provide person-centred referrals and assistance. Link Workers will also support existing groups to be accessible and sustainable and help people to start new community groups, working collaboratively with all local partners through linking in with Age UK Lambeth’s Community Development team.

  • Part Time Home Maker

    Part-Time Homemaker (15 hours per week) Permanent Contract - £8,619 per annum

    Our Homemakers are a dedicated group of individuals that work hard to ensure our clients can remain as independent and as comfortable as possible at home. 

    At Age UK Lambeth it is our desire to ensure our Homemakers develop life-enriching, life-enhancing relationships with our clients. The Homemaker takes the time to truly understand our clients' needs within their homes.

    You will perform a variety of basic house cleaning duties for clients to include: cleaning the bathroom, mopping kitchen floors, oven and refrigerator cleaning, vacuuming rugs, dusting furniture and appliances, laundry, and changing bed linen.
