How do I become a volunteer?

Complete our online form to start your volunteer application process. If you can't complete your application online please email our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@ageuklambeth.org or call 0333 360 3700.

Volunteering lets you contribute your time and skills to our work. As well as using your existing skills, volunteering is a great way of learning new ones. We couldn't do what we do without our dedicated volunteers and are incredibly grateful to those who spend their time supporting us.

We're always looking for new volunteers to get involved with our projects. Below are all the roles we are looking for, please get in contact with us if you're interested in finding out more. You can apply using our online application form or contact us at 0333 360 3700 or email us at volunteer@ageuklambeth.org.

What happens next?

Once you've completed your application a member of our team will be in touch to complete the next steps to get you ready. These are:

  • Complete for DBS application. We will send you an invitation via First Advantage Disclosure (FAD) to do this, once it's been completed we will need to verify the documents that FAD asked you to submit. Once you've been verified by our team FAD then checks your information, this normally only takes a few days but it can take up to 60 days
  • Complete your volunteer training with our team, this can be done online or in person
  • We need both of your references back so please remind the people you submitted on your form that they will receive a form from us to complete
