Response Service Team Leader
Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire is expanding across our area to meet the rising demand for our fantastic services. We are looking for a Team Leader in the following area:
- Lincoln
- 4 on 4 off shift pattern
- 06:00 – 18:00
- 38.5-hour contract
- Driving licence essential
- Personal care involved
- £29,011 per annum

About the role
As a Response Team Leader, no two days are ever the same. With a multitude of tasks to keep you busy, supporting the team, alongside our clients, everyday will come with its challenges, but more so, with an abundance of job satisfaction, knowing that you’ve made a difference to our older community.
Your day will start by making plans with our Call Handlers and Community Responders, to ensure a smooth running of the day. You will liaise with external professionals such as GP’s, Community Nurses and Co-ordinators at the hospital discharge lounges. By doing so, you will play an important role in enabling older people to safely receive short term care whilst remaining in their homes. Preventing hospital admissions and avoiding extended hospital stays.
You will carry out personal care calls when required to support your team, and ensure regular supervisions and observation competencies take place for those you line manage. You will carry out regular audits in line with CQC standards and expectations and will work closely with the Registered Care Manager and Assistant Response Manager, in order to achieve our organisational strategic goals, whilst embedding our core values into everything that you do. You will be welcomed into a friendly team of diverse individuals and have some fun along the way too!
