Our Counselling Service is for residents of Manchester aged 60 years and over and their carers.
Counsellors approved by Age UK Manchester are available to help clients explore and understand problems such as anxiety/stress, depression, bereavement, loneliness, self-esteem, trauma/abuse and ill health.
Sessions are available at:
• Crossacres Resource Centre in Wythenshawe
• Openshaw Resource Centre
• Brunswick Village
• Age UK Manchester’s City Centre Head Office
Session days and times are mutually agreed between the Counsellor and client. Home visits (subject to risk assessment) are offered to housebound clients, particularly important for older clients with transport and mobility problems.
