Our Day Care Service covering Central Manchester and surrounding areas provides a day out for people over fifty, with door to door transport, support that matches their needs, nutritious food and refreshments, engaging activities and friendly, relaxed company.

Day Care offers:

• Door to door transport
• Breakfast and a hot drink on arrival
• A choice of activities including entertainers, bingo, armchair exercises, games, arts and crafts or space to chat with friends or read the papers
• A delicious two-course hot lunch
• Afternoon refreshments
• Hairdressing, bathing, podiatry and chiropody are available at an extra charge
• Respite for carers

Our approach:

Our fully trained staff provide support matched to your needs in a friendly, safe environment. We give clients time and attention – an essential component of a caring service. We ensure our clients are treated with courtesy, dignity and kindness; that they feel listened to and their views are respected regarding the service.

Our centres are open Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Clients can be picked up from 9:00am and we start to bring clients home from 3:00pm.

Our charges:

We charge a competitive and affordable rate for this service.

You may be eligible to attend at a reduced rate with funding via a Social Services assessment. Please contact your local Day Centre regarding the options available to you.

These charges include transport, lunch and refreshments, activities, one to one support and entertainment.
