Sisters Raise £558 for Age UK Norfolk at Blickling Half Marathon

Published on 11 November 2025 11:57 AM

Two sisters have gone the extra mile — literally — for older people in Norfolk. Grace and Rosie Pank recently ran the Blickling Half Marathon, raising an incredible £558 for Age UK Norfolk.

Their fundraising effort will make a real difference in the lives of older people across the county, supporting services that provide advice, companionship, and practical help to those who need it most.

Running a half marathon is no easy challenge, but Grace and Rosie’s determination and generosity demonstrates the incredible spirit of the local community. Every pound raised will help Age UK Norfolk continue its vital work, from offering friendly advice and benefit checks to tackling loneliness and improving wellbeing for older people. "It was an honour to raise money for this cause." says Grace.

“We are so grateful to Grace and Rosie for their amazing effort,” said Michelle Diston-Jay, Head of Fundraising and Communications at Age UK Norfolk. “Their dedication not only raises funds but also shines a light on the importance of supporting older people in our community.”

"We are so grateful for the work you do, and we are glad to have been a part of it." added Rosie.
