Age UK Norfolk Service Delivery update 15/4/2020

Age UK Norfolk provides Information, advice and befriending services to those over 50 who live in Norfolk. Our services remain open to new referrals from professionals and members of the public. We are utilising phone and email support to provide these as we are currently unable to operate our home visiting services and outreach as normal.

Our trained advisers are working from home, please leave us a message and they will return your call. Messages are being taken off throughout the day.

We are here to help with benefit entitlement e.g. Attendance Allowance applications, benefit checks, Lasting Power of Attorney, support available in the community, social care, advocacy and more.

Telephone befriending

Our Telephone Befriending service is also still operational, making calls to lonely and isolated older people across Norfolk.

Telephone Befriending

Our Telephone Befriending service offers people aged 60 and over companionship by phone with one of our local volunteers or Age UK Norfolk Befriending Co-ordinators.

For free, confidential information and advice, contact our advice telephone helpline, Monday - Friday 10am to 4pm. Telephone 0300 500 1217 to speak to one of our advisers.

Dementia Services

Recognising that you have memory problems or dementia can be worrying. If you are living with dementia or you are caring for someone with dementia, we can help you to regain your confidence, try new activities, live a positive life and make a valuable contribution to your community.
