The first of its kind in North Tyneside, Havelock Place has been shaped by people living with dementia, their families, carers and leading dementia specialists to create a place where people can continue to live life their way.

Havelock Place has been designed to support people living with dementia to remain independent, connected and part of a welcoming community.
Developed in partnership with people living with cognitive impairment, family carers, the University of Stirling and Admiral Nurses, every aspect of Havelock Place has been carefully considered to support wellbeing, confidence and quality of life.

Supported by family and friends, Friends of Havelock is a group of volunteers who support those living in Havelock Place. The team work to achieve grants and funding to host activities and events for those living with dementia.
