Age UK North Tyneside's Chief Executive Has Been Honoured with an OBE

Age UK North Tyneside Group Chief Executive, Dawn McNally, has been officially recommended for an Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the King’s Birthday Honours List 2025!

This incredible honour recognises Dawn’s unwavering dedication, inspirational leadership, and the lasting impact she has made on the lives of older people across the North East. Under her guidance, Age UK North Tyneside has gone from strength to strength, expanding services, influencing policy, and making sure older people are supported and empowered.

Dawn has been a driving force behind the charity’s success for many years, showcasing innovation, inclusion and kindness at every turn. Whether it's launching new services, collaborating with partners, or supporting her team, her impact has been nothing short of remarkable.

Speaking about the honour, Dawn McNally said:

“I am incredibly humbled to receive this recommendation. While I am the one named, the accomplishment and recognition truly belong to the entire team at Age UK North Tyneside. We have so many helpful staff, volunteers, trustees and partners who share my commitment to our mission.”
