    We are looking for an experienced Exercise Instructor to join our friendly team, delivering engaging sessional group exercise classes with the over 50’s in Ashington.

    The position will be responsible for creating customised workout routines to improve mobility, strength and balance. If you are enthusiastic, compassionate and committed to helping older people improve their health and wellbeing, we want to hear from you. Previous experience of working with older people is preferred.

    This is a great opportunity to have friendly chats to people about everything we do, and how we can help them. 

  • Volunteer Exercise Instructors

    Do you believe in the benefits of exercising for older people? We are looking for friendly volunteers to deliver weekly exercise classes for older people in their local communities!

    You will be provided with full training, and have the full supprt from our team. This is a great way to get out into the community and make a real difference.

  • Volunteer Befriender

    Would you like to give friendship to older people in the local community? Why not become a Befriender volunteer for us! Have a chat and a cuppa with someone in need of a friend.

    If you are friendly, confident and have good local knowledge, then this could be for you!

    We have a great opportunity for a lovely volunteer to help assist at our new Haltwhistle Friendship Group!

    The purpose of the role is to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere to group members, as well as helping setting up the group and assist with the planning of group trips, events and activities.

    We are looking for a Day Centre Support Worker for our recently reopened Day Centre at the Isabella Centre in Blyth! Salary is £12.00 an hour, and the role will including providing a comfortable, safe and stimulating environment for customers and to recognise and respect their dignity at all times. A Category D license is essential as you will be responsible for driving our customers to and from the Day Centre.
