When will I receive my running t-shirt/vest?
Vests/T-Shirts are sent approximately 4-6 weeks before race day. Once you have a place confirmed, and let us know what size you need, our team will arrange to post it to you.
Is there a minimum amount I need to fundraise?
If you take one of our charity places, we ask that you raise a minimum of £300. If you have your own place in the Great North Run ballot, and run for us with that place, you can set your own target. We will be here to support you, and provide you with lots of inspiration to help you hit your target.
What's the best way to pay in the money I have raised?
The easiest way is to pay in using your Enthuse fundraising page that was set up for you automatically when you registered, or you could set up a JustGiving page (please let us know if you choose this option). Use whichever platform you’re most comfortable with. If you collect money on either of these online fundraising pages, there’s nothing extra for you to do - the money will come directly to us.
If you've collected any cash, you can pay it in using one of the options below:
- Pay the donations onto your Enthuse or JustGiving page.
- Do a bank transfer, email Fundraising@ageuk-northumberland.org.uk for our account details.
How will the money I raise make a difference?
Here’s how the money runners raise for Age UK Northumberland from the Great North Run actually helps the older people that we support:
Services That Rely on Fundraising
Age UK Northumberland runs a wide range of services that rely on charitable support, including:
- Free information, advice and advocacy to help people over 50 access benefits, care and housing support.

Your fundraising helps us to keep these vital services going!
How Your Fundraising Makes a Difference
