Christmas Comes Handmade to Braithwell
The Christmas spirit arrives in Braithwell with an Artisan Christmas Fair on Sunday 22 November 2026, from 11am to 4pm.
The fair will see the Ruddle Centre transformed into a warm and welcoming festive marketplace, where visitors can experience the atmosphere of a traditional makers market and enjoy the creativity of local crafters and artists.

A carefully chosen collection of independent crafters, designers and artists will be showcasing their work throughout the day. From handmade gifts and seasonal decorations to original artwork, accessories and distinctive keepsakes, the fair is designed for shoppers who want to give special gifts with character rather than something chosen from a shelf.
There will be plenty to browse, but the real charm lies in the chance to meet the makers themselves. These are the people who cut, stitch, paint, bake, design and finish every piece, turning raw materials into gifts with individuality and care. For many visitors, that conversation is part of what makes an artisan fair feel so different from ordinary Christmas shopping and to add to the relaxing festive atmosphere mulled wine and mince pies will be available, along with hot and cold refreshments from the bar.
The Ruddle Centre is a beautifully refurbished venue where hospitality meets community in the heart of Braithwell and by booking a stall or coming along on the day, visitors will be supporting the centre and local charity, Age UK Rotherham.
So, whether you're searching for a standout present, fit to become a family keepsake, a small stocking filler or simply an enjoyable festive afternoon, the Artisan Christmas Fair promises to make the run-up to Christmas feel that little bit more special.
