Age UK Sutton helps unlock £3.2m in financial support for older people.

We're delighted that the vital work of Age UK Sutton's Community Support team has been recognised in recent press coverage, highlighting how our team is helping older people across the borough to access the financial support and security they deserve. 

Across London, a staggering £326 million in Pension Credit went unclaimed this year, money that could transform someone’s quality of life. Thanks to our dedicated staff and volunteers, older residents in Sutton are getting the help they need to claim what they’re entitled to. In the year 2024/25 we helped older people in Sutton claim an additional £3.2million in benefits, including pension credit, that they didn’t know they were entitled to.
