Valentine’s Week brings love and joy to the Living Well Centre

Published on 20 February 2026 10:21 AM

The Living Well Centre was filled with even more love last week as we celebrated Valentines with a series of themed activities. Throughout the week, every activity was given a loving twist to bring smiles and spark memories.

We began the celebrations with a lively Love to Sing session delivered by Home Instead Sutton. Guests enjoyed music, dancing and conversation - an uplifting start that set the tone for the week! Creative flair soon followed as we decorated heart‑shaped biscuits and crafted Valentine’s cards for loved ones. A fun word challenge using the word ‘Valentines’ got everyone thinking – and laughing! We rounded off the week with a relaxing flower‑arranging activity.

The Living Well Centre, which opened in January, provides specialised support for people living with dementia. To learn more about our services visit our dedicated page (link). If you'd like to speak to the team and arrange a visit give them a call on 020 8 078 2149

Join Us for ‘Love to Sing’ Every Monday

Our weekly Love to Sing sessions, run in partnership with Home Instead, Sutton, take place every Monday from 11am to 12pm. They offer the perfect start to the week - uplifting music to sing along to, the opportunity for a dance and plenty of friendly conversation. The sessions are a great way to boost wellbeing and are open to older adults, carers, and family members.
