Christmas Fair 2019

Age UK Thanet held our Annual Christmas Fair on Saturday 7th December 2019. What a fun time we all had! We are delighted to advise that we raised approximately £900 on the day for our cause. We have so many people to thank, so please forgive us if anyone is missed! Firstly we would like to thank the Co-op Funeralcare for kindly topping up the funds raised by £150. We would like to thank all of the companies that kindly donated prizes for our raffle and tombola - We couldn't have done it without you! The entertainment this year was fantastic, and a huge thank you goes to The Glee Club singers who opened the show, Cliftonville Primary School and Jo'Jo's School of Dance. We were also treated to a visit from the Mayor and Mayoress of Margate and Educational Life CIC entertained us again dressed as an elephant! Lastly we would like to thank the many staff and volunteers who gave up their day to attend and make the occasion a roaring success! Well done everyone!
