Reflections on our VE Day Campaign

Thank You to Everyone who donated a meal for a Veteran or loved one to celebrate VE Day on Friday 8th May.

What an amazing day! Due to the kind generosity of the community and beyond we managed to deliver 146 meals to celebrate this most important day to ensure our Veterans knew they had not been forgotten. Thanks to the British Legion for their knowledge and support. Special Thanks goes out to Margate Fire & Rescue Team and our volunteer Keith Simpson who went out and helped deliver these amazing meals with our own staff team too!
Great home made food from the fabulous kitchen staff team at Age UK Thanet. The smiles brought tears of joy and memories were shared.
