The charge for the service is £36 for the first hour plus VAT, plus the cost of any materials. Some essential works are assessed as VAT exempt, these generally relate to health and safety in and around the home. All requests are assessed individually. Some jobs have set prices. For more information contact us. We respond to non urgent calls within two working days to arrange an appointment to carry out or assess the work. All urgent enquiries are responded to the say working day.
Please note, this service is not available outside Age UK Wigan Borough - Head Office's catchment area.
