Thank you to generous Co-op shoppers

We've been amazed at the generosity of the Oldfield Park Co-op members who raised an incredible £5390.73 for us.

We were lucky enough to be chosen by the Co-op for its Local Community Fund, where members donate one per cent of what they spend on own brand products and services. We could never have imagined they would raise so much. So we decided to say thank you in person to customers and staff by setting up a stall in the store.

Care Services Manager Amanda Stanson said: "We spoke to people of all ages in the store and told them about our services and that we would use the money to help prevent loneliness and isolation among older people in B&NES.

"We're so grateful to everyone who contributed - thank you to every one of you."
