Christmas 2022

Published on 06 February 2023 03:53 PM

Age UK Bexley had a busy Christmas in 2022. Across the different activities and services lots of Christmas fun was had.

Befriending Cafes

Organised by our Befriending Café Project Officer, Sasha, all cafe club members were invited to Geddes place on the 19th December. Over 70 members played games, ate Christmas food, and were entertained. A big thank you to Welling Round Table who donated £1000 for the party!

Day Centre

Our Day Centre clients had a week of Christmas events with a visit from Santa, a Carol concert and a Christmas dinner.

Sidcup Day centre staff would like to say a very big thank you to all our clients and their wonderful families for the overwhelming amount of gifts that they have received. Your kindness and support is very much appreciated.

Men in Sheds

The Shed members enjoyed an afternoon at the pub for their Christmas Get Together. Drink, food and gifts were all enjoyed!

The Shed also ran a market stall at Erith Tree Festival, selling their festive goods. They raised over £250 for their project.

Volunteers

On Wednesday 14th December a group of wonderful Volunteers enjoyed a Christmas meal at the Anchor in Bexley.
