Are you and your home ready for the cold weather?
If you are struggling to keep warm this winter, get in touch with us for a home energy check. We can help by making sure your home is energy efficient.

What happens during a home energy check?

Our handyperson will visit your home to:
- Discuss and assess your heating patterns, health needs and home environment
- Installation of free and simple energy efficiency equipment, such as draught excluders around doors and windows, radiator panels and foils
- Give some key tips and advice and distribute relevant information guides on how to keep warm and save energy
- Provide information on other support services, depending on your needs.

Who is eligible?

The free Home Energy Check is for those aged 65+ and you must fit into to one of the following criteria:
1. Have a household income below £21,091 or are on means-tested benefits
2. Living with a long-term condition such as cardiovascular problems, COPD, arthritis and/or dementia
3. Living in a property which is hard-to-heat (such as an EPC rating below ‘C’, no loft insulation, high rise blocks or not connected to the gas grid)
