Quality Standards

We hold the following quality marks:
- Age UK Network Charity Quality Standard (CQS)
- Advice Quality Standard (AQS)
- Age UK Quality of Advice Standard (QAS)
Age UK Network Charity Quality Standard
Age UK Bolton has achieved the Age UK Network Charity Quality Standard (CQS).
The CQS is awarded to members of the Age UK network that have demonstrated they:
- Are well governed and managed
- Have a clear direction and strategy
- Are committed to ensuring the well-being and safety of older people, staff and volunteers
Advice Quality Standards
The Age UK Quality of Advice Standard (QAS) and the Advice Quality Standard (AQS) show that we offer a quality assured Information and Advice service and demonstrates our commitment to quality.
The Quality of Advice Standard has two main sets of benchmarks, which state that a service must show that it:
- Provides consistent, relevant and effective advice to clients and demonstrates this by providing sufficient information in their client records.
- Has clear and relevant systems and procedures in place to manage the delivery of consistent, good quality information and advice.
- Monitors its services and seeks feedback from clients and stakeholders.
