What are the benefits of partnering with Age UK Bolton?

A partnership with us could be beneficial for your business by helping you meet your corporate social responsibility objectives. It's a great way to motivate employees, gain insight into the over-50s market and help Age UK Bolton to support vulnerable people in the local community. All of the monies donated to Age UK Bolton go towards helping the older people in Bolton.

How can we get involved?

There are a number of ways your organisation can partner with us.

Choose Age UK Bolton as your Charity of the Year

Please consider choosing Age UK Bolton as your business Charity of the Year.

Team Eagley Bank chose Age UK Bolton as their Charity of the Year 2018

Age UK Bolton was approached by Team Eagley Bank who nominated us as their Charity of the year 2018.

Team Eagley Bank was the brainchild of Maureen Heggie who started it with a group of neighbours around The Gardens where she has lived with husband, Jimmy, for the past 26+ years.

The 40-strong Team Eagley Bank also has a special group for youngsters. Activities range from garden parties and car-washes to vintage tea parties and sponsored cycle rides.

“But it’s the community spirit that is really more important,” explained Mrs Heggie. “People watch out for each other, water their gardens, collect items for them, go shopping and care about each other. It is like an extended family.”

This wonderful group of people held a variety of events to raise money to help the older people of Bolton.

Display a collection tin

Could you display a collection tin in your office or shop? This would help us to collect much needed donations to continue our vital work in Bolton.

Donate a raffle prize or service

Could you donate a prize for one of our many fundraising raffles and competitions - perhaps a bottle of wine, box of chocolates or biscuits, bath goodies, gift vouchers, or free services?

Donate equipment

If you would like to donate a piece of equipment, we would be very grateful. We usually need raiser chairs for people in our day centres, kitchen equipment for our lunch clubs, and computer equipment for our staff.

Send employees to volunteer

Could you send a team to help out at an event or activity? It's a great way for staff to bond by working together to help vulnerable older people.
